It's 2 AM here in San Francisco, and I'm staring at a whiteboard covered in equations for multi-domain swarm logic. I'm part of the Founders Inc Blueprint program, surrounded by some of the smartest people I've ever met, and yet, I feel like I'm running out of time. Not just time to build a demo for the showcase on November 6th, but time in a much larger sense. That date is a finish line and a starting pistol all at once. The pressure is immense, and for me, it's personal.

Startups are the hardest thing you can do. The hardest part of that is when the path you start on changes without warning. I began this journey with a co-founder, but a few days before the program began, our paths diverged. It was a gut punch, right at the starting line.

In that moment, you have two choices: fold, or let the fire forge you. I'm still here because the mission is bigger than any one person. That setback didn't break my conviction; it clarified it. It reinforced that a mission this critical can't rest on two shoulders; it needs a team of titans.

Because the problem we're solving at Caelus Industries isn't a theoretical one. It's a ticking clock.

The World is a Chessboard, and the Ocean is the Prize

As an avid risk-gamer, I see the world in phases and progressions. The truth of this century is this: the world's oceans are the new battleground for power and prosperity. Protecting shipping lanes, underwater cables, and coastlines isn't just about defense anymore — it's about economic survival.

I've seen the logical progression of this reality playing out in real-time. The superpowers are going all-in, pouring billions into their fleets. Middle powers are scrambling to pick sides. The ocean has become a giant chessboard where every nation feels the pressure to make a move before the music stops.

But what about everyone else? What about the nations that can't afford to be outgunned, but refuse to be outsmarted?

We Are the David in a World of Goliaths

That is who we build for.

At Caelus Industries, our mission is to democratize maritime defense. While the defense giants build for superpowers, we build for the proud, practical, and ambitious nations determined to protect their sovereignty.

We are not just building drones. We are building the slingshot.

Our technology — from the hybrid, cross-domain MOA-J: OMNISCIENT autonomous vehicle, to the AI-powered intelligence platforms that will follow — is designed to be an equalizer. We create systems that turn brain power into sea power, making a single patrol boat as effective as an entire fleet. This is how we level the playing field.

Why I'm Leading This Charge

My entire career has been a collision course with this mission. I'm a NASA-certified defense technologist who has built mission-critical hardware from scratch at my previous venture — turning NASA's deep-space patents into viable businesses on Earth. My experience isn't in serving the Goliaths; it's in creating scrappy, innovative solutions that punch above their weight. This isn't a job for me. It is a deeply personal fight for the principle that a nation's independence shouldn't be determined by the size of its military budget.

The Call to Arms

This is not a search for an early employee. This is a search for a founding team.

I am looking for builders who are tired of the military-industrial complex jargon and want to build for the overlooked. I'm looking for the smart underdogs who believe innovation beats scale every time.

If you join us now, you will be an architect of the company that arms the Davids of the world. You will build technology that directly empowers nations to stand on their own. The work will be hard, the odds are long, but the mission is one of real consequence.

The path forward is harder now, but the opportunity for impact is exponentially greater.

The mission remains. We soldier on.
